VoiceFlow AI builds conversational voice agents on top of large language models. Their product lived or died by audio quality — any perceptible lag between an agent's words and a user's response broke the illusion of a natural conversation. Their previous SIP provider routed media through shared infrastructure with no dedicated peering, adding 200ms or more of round-trip delay. The Solution
Dedicated SIP endpoints with direct carrier peering and sub-50ms media latency
CloudVNO migrated VoiceFlow AI to dedicated SIP endpoints provisioned via the AI Voice Infrastructure API. Instead of shared media servers, each tenant gets isolated media relay nodes co-located with Tier-1 carrier peering points. CloudVNO's points of presence are distributed across 15+ regions so that the media path between an agent's LLM inference node and the PSTN is as short as physically possible. VoiceFlow AI also enabled instant number provisioning — spinning up new DIDs for each agent persona in under 60 seconds via API — and gained built-in STIR/SHAKEN A-level attestation that stopped their traffic from being flagged as spam before a call even connected.
